Dear Dancers, Drummers, Family and Friends

Our Egypt trip scheduled for this Spring of 2011 has been bumped 2012 due to the Egyptian Political reform taking place. Airing on the side of prudence we decided to rebook. These are our new dates, and the good news is this gives time and opportunity to join us next Spring!

We will be taking new reservations very soon. Call or E-mail us and we will alert you when it’s available and send you the itinerary in the real mail.

$650 reserves your spot with an Early Bird Discount.

Last time I went was in 2008. This may be my last trip to Egypt, so I am going all out. I am going to places I know and love and places I have never been before but have dreamed of. You are invited to come with me! I’m breaking it down into two very captivating itineraries. Beginning in Cairo for the Egyptian Museum and shopping. The first tour goes to Luxor and sees all the maga sites, followed by a tranquil Nile Cruise, then up to Alexandria and ends with Private time in the Great Pyramid. The second one joins us for more Cairo R&R, Alexandria, The Great Pyramid, then goes East across the bay of Aqaba, the deserts of Wadi Rum to the ruins at Petra in Jordan , then sun and swim in the Red Sea and back to Cairo!

You can choose to join me on one or the other, or maybe both! One is 15 days the other is 11 Days.

While I am a notable belly dancers, this tour is for dancers, family, friends and anyone who loves Egypt. I am a fun tour guide! I know my way around the sites and my friends at Gurdian Travel tour company are the best !

We are working on the new detailed PDF’s so you can print it out, grab a latte and enjoy reading and envisioning your self in Egypt with me in 2012. (They will be up by middle of this March) If you want me to send you the itinerary in the mail simply call or e mail me and I will be glad to.

In a nutshell.

The flight leaves from JFK. We are picked up and speedily run though immigration by our tour guides at Guardian Tours. Peace of cake. We board our deluxe tour bus and travel across the magical city of Cairo to the La Meridian Hotel right across the street from the pyramids. You can view them from your bed. It’s awesome. We hang in Cairo for site seeing and shopping (we will visit costumers and they can even custom make things for you to pick up when we return from our journey down the Nile).

Next we go to Luxor and see the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsute's Temple, Abydos, Dendera and Karnac. We jump on a cruise ship for a few days and float and dance down the Nile like so many kings, queens, princes and dancing girls did for centuries. We will visit the island Temple of Isis and take a day trip to Abu Simbel and the Rameses Temple and Queens/ Goddess Nefertari’s Temple to Hathor.

May 4th
We return to Cairo by plane, rest, site see, shop and meet up with the second group beginning their tour called Cleopatra’s Holiday. Party or rest in the beautiful Hotel.

May 5th
We have a choice of options. Each group has their own comfortable air conditioned tour bus with a rest room on board. Overlapping the 2 tour groups gives us all plenty of room and greater flexibility in our choice of destinations in Cairo (maybe you want to do more shopping, or maybe you would rather go back to the museum). It’s going to be great fun.

During this time we will arrange for any one interested to take a workshop with a popular Egyptian dancer or drummer. They will come to our hotel and that would be an extra fee. There are also belly dance shows very late at night. If you are a night owl we can arrange it as an extra event.

May 6th
Both groups will take a day trip to Queen Cleopatra’s home city of Alexandria.

May 7th: Special day Private time in the Great Pyramid
We will explore the Giza Plateau and as the moon is new I am renting private time in the Great Pyramid for just my group to enjoy for 2 hours. I will have a dance meditation for you to do with me in the Great Pyramid. We get to go in any room we want (King’s and Queen’s chambers, the room underneath the Great Pyramid).

Guardian Travel is a wonderful tour company. They go out of their way to make our every wish manifest. If you have a special want to see or find something in Egypt, let me know and I’ll get them working on it for you. They have small busses available, and will escort you to run a special errand while in Egypt if need be.

May 8th
Hugs and goodbyes to the first group. We send them on their way back to the U.S.
The second group and anyone staying on will come with me. (Yes, you can add this part onto the Hathor Down the Nile for additional cost of only $1600 if you sign up early). See all the details below called Trip of a Lifetime.

We will drive in our luxury tour bus to the Bedouin town of Taba. The next day take a ferry to Aqaba Jordan. Explore the beautiful desert known as Wadi Rum in 4 wheeled jeeps, and maybe do some dancing and meditating there. We visit the famous ruins at Petra for a day and night. They light it at night, and sometimes do special bedouin performances. Our guide is going to check into this for us.

Then we kick back and relax by the turquoise waters of the red sea known as the Riviera of the Mid east. There are tons of video on the net of the Dolphins that live in the red Sea.We can easily snorkel or just kick back and catch some sun shine. The next day we return to Cairo, do any last minute shopping, relax at the hotel, and fly back to the U.S. the next day.

OK so if you are crazy about Egypt and want to do it all? It will take you 20 days and a couple days to recuperate. But it’s a trip of a lifetime!

Hope to hear from you soon!
