OVERVIEW COURSE
DESCRIPTION
Power Belly Class with Delilah & Erik
This is Delilah's popular style of workout done in the round
with or without the Power Belly wight belts. This is done to
a unique live signature style of music composed by Erik Brown;
Bass, hand drums, samples and looped tracks. The weight belts
challenge the dancer to work a little harder. It can also be
done isometrically without weights. The work improves muscle
memory, core body balance, and agility for learning new combos
and isolations. Its a perfect mix for the Unmata style, as
well as learning and retaining new isolations and choreography.
Egyptian Style with Dahlia Moon
Dahlia will begin with a tutorial in Egyptian basics and then
teach a choreography. She also has a improve class she's inspired
to share with you and a folkloric Saidi style Cane Dance. Canes
can be ordered closer to the event if you need one.
Tribal Hula Fusion with Amy Sigil
Amy will be introducing you to her
unique body mechanics and UNMATA styling that came out of
Hula, Hip Hop and Tribal Belly Dancing. The music
will be loud and you will get very very wet!
We promise! Amy’s course work with include
elements of:
• Sigal School
• Signature Combos
• Unmata au Nature with Hula
• Hot Pot Fusion
• Fast and Furious
EXTRA COST
CLASS OFFERED
Demystifying the Drum Solo with Delilah & Erik
(minimum of 4, limited to 8 dancers)
We want to offer a Drum
Solo Class but because of the intense,
one-on-one solo work
it demands, we decided to offer it as an option
for
ambitious die hearts!
We like to do it in more than 1 part so you
can come let it stew a little bit
and make more progress. It has an extra charge of $80 for 3-4 hours depending
on amount of dancers. Check the box when you register for retreat. If its full
we
will say so online.
